Staff User Permission Levels
The Camascope system supports seven distinct user permission levels, allowing you to control access based on each staff member’s role and responsibilities.
Level 1 represents the highest level of access, typically assigned to management.
Level 7 is the lowest level, offering read-only access without the ability to make changes or record activity.
Permissions Overview:
Level 1: Manager
Full access to all system functions, including administration, user management, reporting, and configuration.Level 2: Nurse Manager Auth
Similar to Manager, but with additional authority to authenticate key clinical actions (e.g. witness approvals, high-risk meds).Level 3: Nurse
Access to clinical functions, including medication administration, check-ins, audits, and reporting.Level 4: Carer – Medicating
Can administer medications and complete relevant records but has no access to admin settings or user management.Level 5: Carer – Non-Medicated (Topical)
Restricted to signing for non-medicated topical items only, such as creams or lotions.Level 6: Witness
Can witness medication actions where required, but cannot perform or initiate them independently.Level 7: Read-Only Access
View-only rights for records and schedules; no ability to make edits or sign for actions.
