How does a care home change pharmacy?

Pharmacy changes may be necessary for various reasons, including issues with ordering medication, communication challenges with the pharmacy, or user-initiated requests for a pharmacy change.

To effectively manage this process, please follow the following protocol

  • Contact Camascope requesting a pharmacy change ticket

  • Once we receive the completed form back from you, we will kindly ask that you refrain from initiating any new orders for medication until the pharmacy change process is complete

  • We will send a request to the new pharmacy to create the account and relevant wards with correct cycles dates

  • Once all is complete we will inform both the care home and the pharmacy
