Adding an 'Ad Hoc' Medication

In cases where a medication arrives from a different pharmacy (i.e. not your regular supplier linked to Camascope), it will not appear automatically in the system. These medications must be added manually using the Ad Hoc entry process.

  1. Click on the Medication tab at the top of the screen, then select Check-Ins from the dropdown menu.

  2. From the list on the left, select the service user who the medication is for.

  3. Before adding the medication, review any known allergies by clicking on Allergies in the service user’s profile.

  4. Click Add New Medication to begin entering the medication details manually.
